HISTORY
During the late 70s , Elder Thomas Davis dedicated a mission in Columbia, SC. Initially, the mission was located on Monticello Drive. During that time, Deacon Buster and Sister Runell Eady and children, Brother Antonio McKie, Sister Jackie McKie, Brother Leroy Gibbs, Sister Cheryl McKie, and Sister Faith McBride Kemp and children worked tenaciously to assist Elder Davis in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Since then, a number of Elders and Minister have participated in efforts of establishing a church in our State's capitol. They are Elder David and Minister Maybell Lucas, Elder James Gibbs, Minister Phares McBride, Elder Antonio McKie, Elder Andre' McBride, Elder David Laws, and Minister Julian Comier. Currently, serving the church as Pastor is Elder Darrell Bivens.
